(Photos by Bald Punk) For some reason when I was passing the above store I was convinced it was really a bodega. I had to work today and never found time to scan The New York Times article they did on my ghost. I will do it tomorrow. Problem is I don’t have a scanner and need to […]

(Pic is not my ghost) In today’s New York Times, you can find the article in the OP-Art section, pg A31. The title is Nightmare on Your Street by Lizzy Ratner. The name of my story is Bald Punk and Thirsty Ghost.  <<Update – I scanned and posted the article – click here>> You can find it at the bottom […]

(Photos by Bald Punk – Click twice to fully enlarge) I took these photos a few months ago. The marina as you can see is a real nice place. It’s perfect for a Sunday morning stroll or to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee.  It’s also called the North Cove.   Here are my STORIES and PHOTOS

Driving Away From The Supernatural World

(Photos by Bald Punk – The Rock Church, Queens Blvd.) Having sworn off the supernatural world outside Calvary Cemetery in Queens, a conspiracy quickly formed against me. By the time we reached the Bronx, it had gathered and took incorporeal shape . . . We drove off from the Calvary boneyard in Yankees-anticipatory glee. On our […]

(Photos by Bald Punk – Click twice to fully enlarge) These are more photos from Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It’s a tiny park called Grand Ferry that’s right down the block from the expansive, park-like Northside Williamsburg waterfront. See below for link to photos of it. Better yet, here are all the places in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area where I photographed: More Williamsburg […]

(Photos by Bald Punk – Click twice to fully enlarge) I’m going to call these bird’s Lundy’s geese of Sheepshead Bay after the famous seafood restaurant that was right across the street. I was tossing bread to them and they went bananas. My lady friend asked if I saw a sign that said “don’t feed the birds.” I laughed! These birds were […]

(Photos by Bald Punk – Calvary Cemetery – Click twice to fully enlarge) In the post about our search for the ghost of a slave named Hardy, I had told you how we found him mowing a church lawn on a bright sunny day, and how he even came with us on a car ride. I want […]

(Photos by Bald Punk – United Church in Longwood Historic District – Click twice to fully enlarge) Speeding along Prospect Ave, I glanced down Macy Place and the sight of the United Church-Iglesia Unida at the end of the short block popped out at me. I thought it was Russian Orthodox. But it’s (I’m Googling). . . The painted brown […]

(Photo by Bald Punk – Click twice to fully enlarge) As many of you know I like to post something every day, so here’s a quickie. I’m pretty sure this building is on 72nd Street by Broadway . . . I’m so tired, bet you are too. I really need to go to sleep. I […]

(Photos by Bald Punk – Click twice to fully enlarge) This park is adjacent to Mt Loretto Unique Area. I think both are in the town of Pleasant Plains. They are pretty far out on Hylan Boulevard, quite a long trip from the Verrazano. For now this is it on Staten Island photos.  Here are my STORIES and PHOTOS
