Silvercup Studious used to be a bakery before it was turned into a film and movie studio. They shoot Ugly Betty, 30 Rock, and Gossip Girl there.

My mom said she can remember being in the subway car when it pulled into Long Island City. She said you could ride with your eyes close and smell the stop, courtesy of the baking bread from the Silvercup Bakery.
