Malcolm McLaren – ‘The Great Rock n Roll Swindler is Dead’

Today the famed Sex Pistol’s manager Malcolm McLaren died after a battle with cancer. He was 64 years old.

This video was choosen because it best represents McLaren’s M.O. in musical terms. Please note that I do not approve in any way shape or form with Sid Vicious’ swastika shirt. I concur with Jello Biafra and his lyric, ”Nazi Punks F–k Off!”

The Ramones – Rockaway Beach “Live”

I’ve only read about fifteen Stephen King novels and went to five or six Ramones concerts. I’m embarrassed by both of those stats.

I remember one time when I saw The Ramones at L’amours in Brooklyn and got thrown out for one reason or another. The funny thing was that I had hardly landed on the sidewalk when the exit door on the other side of the club flies open and there is my friend Tommy, getting flung out on his ass. It was a good thing because I had lost sight of him once the show began. I just remember how we both turned to each other and started laughing our asses off.

Oh Bondage Up Yours!

I like posting something everyday. Somedays I’m not sure what to say or what to put up.

Nothing is really happening with me, my lady friend, and the pizza and Chinese delivery guys. It’s hump day in the middle of July. I wish I was going to the beach tomorrow instead of work.

Well, that’s it. Here’s a great song and video of X-Ray Spex performing their classic, Oh Bondage Up Yours!
