How cool is this interview. Not only does Bono talk about being in the studio with Ian Curtis and Joy Division, but also comments on U2’s decision not to use the late, great Martin Hannet as a producer on their first album, Boy.
I’m no musicologist, though in my opinion Martin turned “drum sounds” into an art form.
