St Paul’s Chapel in Lower Manhattan
(Photos by Bald Punk)
St. Paul’s Chapel is on Broadway by City Hall Park. Behind it is Ground Zero. It was founded in 1764. It is the oldest public building in use in NYC. George Washington worshiped there on his Inauguration Day, April 30, 1789. Below you will find a photo of his pew.
I’ve passed St. Paul’s a gazillion times and this was the first time I went inside. I am ashamed. Now that I think about it, I’ve never been inside Trinity Church. Fuggedaboutit the Statue of Liberty . . .
I’ve been inside the Empire State Building twice. Though I did take these great photos: Empire State Building and Empire State Building at Night.
Plus, I could count on one hand all the Broadway shows I’ve seen.
