Before I get into what happened on our trip to Staten Island, first I want to post some background on Historical Sandy Ground. In the previous post in this series, I had doubted there was such a place. But only because I never heard of it, and thought Benny, “the cigar store Indian” was taking us on some wild goose chase just so he could introduce us to a ghost . . .
