The wildest and weirdest hour in NYC is the “gloaming.” There is no better place to experience it other than Central Park.

“It’s a sensual treat,” my lady friend likes to say when we’re in the Park at twilight.

Manhattan nights can be peculiar, especially on the rare occasions when something of Old New York seems to linger in the air. Otherwise, nothing compares to the gloaming hour. Nothing.
